Following a period of administration, Worcester Warriors began their comeback to professional rugby in 2025. In April 2025, permission was given for the club rejoin the league – and the hard work began…

Worcester Warriors had an established identity but needed a strong, versatile relaunch campaign that showed the strength and determination of the club.

BEARD not only helped create a hugely successful player reveal campaign for the entirely new squad, but also designed the playing kit for the club with an accompanying kit launch campaign, which saw both the home and away kits sell out in less than a week. Alongside all of this, we also created the brand style for the marketing and communications throughout the season.

Guess the Warrior was a huge part of the initial launch campaign. With there squad being entirely new, we didn’t have any existing brand photography to rely on, so decided to release these in a ‘Guess Who’ card style, with almost 40 players being introduced in this way. The social media, from being dormant, suddenly had regular, fresh content and the anticipation helped create a buzz around the relaunch.
